Implementation checklist for your first deployment
A focused pilot can start with existing historian and process data. Use this checklist to clarify the data, the stakeholders, and the success criteria before week one.
Pre-pilot
- Pick one unit and one operational outcome.
- Identify the historian, DCS/SCADA, and lab/quality sources required.
- Name the process engineer who owns the model.
- Confirm IT/OT review path for the Intelecy Gateway.
Weeks 1–2
- Connect data through the Intelecy Gateway.
- Map tags and validate signal quality in Data Explorer.
- Define healthy operating envelopes with the process team.
Weeks 3–6
- Train the first anomaly / forecast / prescriptive model.
- Backtest against the agreed baseline window.
- Pilot alerts with one operator group; gather acknowledgment data.
- Review with finance and stakeholders against pre-agreed KPIs.
Quarter 1 and beyond
- Expand coverage to adjacent units or asset classes.
- Promote stable recommendations to operator workflows.
- Plan governance and approval path for closed-loop where appropriate.
